| means that the ship doesn't actually dock. These small boats, called tenders, carry the passengers back and forth to the docks. |


| Grand Cayman is home to one of the worlds largest turtle farms. They raise green sea turtles from eggs gathered on ocean, these return to the same beach to lay their eggs. Others are raised in tanks as an agricultural product. The farm has also helped restore another turtle species which was near extinction after being devastated by disease The facilities were extensively damaged by hurricane Ivan, but a totally new facility was being constructed. |




| First stop was a boat ride to "Stringray City", where we could swim with and actually pet the stingrays. |

| We met this colorful character near the docks in Georgetown... |

| ...and we found out we just missed the rock paper scissors tournament. |

| The harbor has these large coral formations. You can see the colors of the waterfront buildings. |


| Returning from the dock was the first opportunity to see the Carnival Miracle in all its glory. |
